Our Founder Phil’s Guacamole

Guacamole and tortilla chips… arguably one of the best food combinations out there.

Our founder Phil has spent a lot of time over the years, going back and forth to Mexico, learning how to make our tortillas and tortilla chips just right. So it’s no surprise he’s tried a fair few guacamoles along the way.

We’re sharing his favourite recipe to try out at home. Let us know what you think!

This recipe should make a nice bowl of guacamole to go with our Sea Salt tortilla chips (which you can now buy from us here).

Ingredients

5 Avocados

1 Lime

1/4 Red onion 

2 Scallions/spring onions

25g Coriander

Salt and Pepper

Optional (but highly recommended…) White Mausu Peanut Rāyu

A bag or two of our Sea Salt Tortilla Chips

Method

Scoop out the avocado and toss in squeezed lime juice. Chop up your red onion, scallions and coriander. Mash all ingredients together, leaving some of the avocado chunky. Season to taste and top with the peanut rāyu.
